Is it registered and unregistered Providers?

Yes, Marco Polo supports both registered and unregistered NDIS providers, as long as they meet our quality standards. This ensures participants have access to a wide variety of trusted service options.

Why Call it Marco Polo?

There are two reasons why we called it Marco Polo:

  1. Remember the game you used to play in the pool? One person would close their eyes and tell “Marco!”, trying to find the other people in the pool by them responding “Polo!”. We’re like that, people seeking and finding people and support.
  2. Like the famous explorer, we guide you through your journey to find the best living arrangements, housemates, and providers. Our platform explores and matches your unique needs.

Do you provide the houses?

No, Marco Polo does not provide the houses. Instead, we connect participants with compatible housemates and vetted service providers to make their housing experience comfortable and supportive.

Are you a provider?

No, Marco Polo is not a service provider. We are a platform that helps NDIS participants match with trusted providers and housemates, giving you control over your living situation.

How do I make a complaint?

You can easily make a complaint by filling out the form on our website. You can also visit the NDIS Commission or the NDIS complaints page for more information.

How do you compare to other platforms?

Unlike other platforms, Marco Polo focuses on matching participants with housemates and providers based on individual preferences, not just listing properties. Our participant-centric approach ensures a better living experience.

Do you provide paid marketing?

No, Marco Polo does not provide paid marketing services. Instead, we focus on connecting participants with vetted providers that meet their specific needs.

How do I pay?

Only providers pay to use Marco Polo. They can sign up, choose a subscription option, and pay a finder’s fee once matched with a participant. If the match is unsuccessful, the finder’s fee is refundable.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, simply visit the page dedicated to your group—participants, providers, or coordinators. Each page has step-by-step instructions and a video guide. You can also click any ‘sign up’ button to start.

I cant access the platform? Trouble shooting

If you’re having trouble accessing the platform, try refreshing the page, clearing your browser’s cache, or checking your internet connection. If the issue persists, contact our support team at solve@marcopoloportal.com

What do I do if I change coordinators?

If you change coordinators, you can update your coordinator’s details in your Marco Polo account, ensuring they have the access they need to support you.

How do I delete my profile?

To delete your profile, log into your account, click on your profile, and select “delete.” This will permanently remove your account from the platform.

How do I block someone?

You can block someone by clicking the “block” button on their profile or in the chat. This will prevent them from contacting you.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are available to providers if a match is unsuccessful. While subscription fees are non-refundable, you can cancel a month-to-month subscription at any time.

Can providers contact me before I’m ready?

No, providers can only contact you after you have indicated that you’re ready and chosen them. Your contact details are shared only with your chosen provider.

Can participants see my business?

No, we are not a marketing directory. Participants only match with providers that meet their needs, and they choose who to contact.
